Transporting a vehicle to Puerto Rico

  Regardless of where you live in the states or if you’re coming from Canada, all vehicles leave from the port in Jacksonville. Be sure to carefully read the requirements to assure you were probably prepared to ship your vehicle. Once a day to scheduled, an auto transport carrier comes to your door and picks up your vehicle. So for example if you live in San Antonio Texas, a truck will arrive with other vehicles on board heading towards Florida. By the time it arrives in Jacksonville all the necessary paperwork and booking information has been processed so the vehicle will be ready to be taken in. From there it will set sail and head to San Juan. After clearing agricultural inspections and being unloaded, it will be ready for pick up by the person authorized on the order.

  Shipping a vehicle out of Puerto Rico has several requirements, more so than bringing one in. Please be sure to read our requirements page so to know all that is necessary to get your vehicle out on schedule.   Puerto Rico Auto Transport from the island is port-to-door. Since the island is very small, we do not see demand for door pick up.Once the vehicle has been cleared to be dropped off at the port, it is inspected and taking in with the booking number we have provided. From there it will set sail on the next available date towards Jacksonville Florida. From Jacksonville and will head to its final destination. By this time carrier has been already scheduled and will come and pick up the vehicle and take it to its new home. This could be anywhere in US or Canada. If it’s final destination is Hawaii or Alaska it will be then dropped off in either Long Beach California so it can then set sail to Hawaii or will go to Seattle, Washington to set sail to Alaska.
